The Data Manager is accountable for integrating internal and external data in our current and future platforms. Data sources are of various types: sales (IQVIA, SAP), CRM related (Veeva), travel and expense systems, etc. She/he will be accountable for high level data quality. In this context, she/he will be main AbbVie point of contact with our data suppliers.
As main data source relies on our CRM system, the Data Manager will have to operate basic CRM related operations for the affiliate: release management and UAT, segmentations surveys and cycle plan uploads, data set-up book changes and follow-up, territory alignment as well as other tasks related to local CRM management.
The Data Manager mustbe a strategic partner, have excellent communication skills, be able to deviseand implement data strategies to assist the affiliate in achieving its businessgoals. She/he will play an active role in both advising internal stakeholdersabout required data ensuring valuable decision making and analysing datareports (assessment of initiatives impact).
Core Job Responsibilities:
The Data Manager has responsibilities across a number of areas:
Manageall incoming data files (both internal and external data sources) and overseesthe management of the data structure within the affiliate
Responsiblefor data governance around managed data sets including patient, activity andsales data used by Finance, BI, CRM, COG and Commercial teams.
Reviewdata for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results
Streamlinedata collection and analysis procedures to ensure fast access to metrics
Liaisewith data providers about data changes, maintenance and requirements (bothinternal and external) and provides guidelines for data robustness
Liaisewith internal stakeholders identifying their needs regarding required datasources and associated dashboards needs
Work inpartnership with Business Technology Solutions (IT) and the Global BusinessAnalytics team to co-create relevant dashboards fitting to internal stakeholderneeds
Responsiblefor managing the delivery of ad-hoc data requests.
Responsiblefor system and process documentation
Operatebasic CRM related operations ensuring efficient data collection.
Skills & Experiences required:
An ability to work effectively and highly interactively with all levels of management
Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
Influence within an organisation and the ability to lead without direct authority
Operate in a matrix organisation
Successfully managing data projects through the full lifecycle
Experience in analyzing, designing and improving business processes
Experience of MDM, Qliksense, SAP and managing CRM systems
Familiar with OneKey and CRM Data
Strong management of external service providers
Strong or Fluent English as a second language
3 years of significant Data Consultancy or Data Professional experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management, or equivalent experience, preferably in business or a closely related discipline.
