National Sales Manager – HCV
This is a field based role, reporting into the Business Unit Manager.
Territory: National coverage

Main purpose of the job:
Coordinate and manage customer and other commercial activities on a national level including leading and coaching of salesforce (i.e. Account Specialists) and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Drive National Brand Performance
Deliver sales performance and brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to meet or exceed national sales plan within expense budgets.
Ensure excellence in Operational Implementation
Engage with other functions within AbbVie to ensure the highest standard in terms of capability and performance in your team
Proactively share best practice within the organisation to continually raise the bar in performance
Ensure delivery of high quality performance management and personal development of the sales teams
Effectively on-board new Account Specialists in line with AbbVie standards to ensure that they are capable of driving high performance
Ensure that the AbbVie leadership behaviours are developed within the team, contributing positively to the overall AbbVie culture
Influence opinions of key stakeholders assigned by Brand Teams (e.g. Prescribing physicians, Payers, etc.) to maximize brand performance.
Knowledge and Experience
Recognised as talent developer in a national biotech/pharma environment
Proven track record of success in a leadership position in Marketing or other commercial field (e.g. Market Access)
Experience of High cost medicines/specialist commissioning and Market Access strategy.
Knowledge of territory and relationships with key stakeholders would be advantageous.
