Summary of Job Description:

  • Assist Financial Planning Manager in preparation and monitoring of consolidated financial Plans, Updates and LBE's, monthly analysis and reporting to Region and Area.

  • Support Algeria’s commercial and medical team by actively participating in Brand teams and facilitate decision making impacting the business.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the budgeting cycles for NENWA related to Plan, Update, etc.as required, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet, expenses and capitaland ensure that financial data loaded on TM1 system is accurate

  • Manage the analysis/interpretation of monthly results and monthly financial submissions to Region and Area (perf analysis, P&L, BS etc..) and ensure accuracy of numbers and commentary

  • Monitor Product P&L and support the Financial Planning Manager – NENWA in identifying opportunities to maximize products and country margins.

  • Monitor expenses (cost centers) and highlight potential exposures to avoid overspending against benchmarks and strategically work with concerned parties on reallocating funds where required

  • Provides financial reviews and approvals on SAP (purchase order requests and invoices).

  • Actively participate in Brand teams and Partner with the Brand/Functional teams to provide strategic support in the decision-making by creating models, making educated recommendations and monitoring and identifying opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborate with Demand Manager and attend Internal Demand Sales meetings to align with Commercial teams on forecasts, challenge their assumptions, and ultimately review and validate sales forecasts on a monthly basis.

  • Collaborate with Market Access, Financial Planning Manager and FD to ensure proper control and approval of individual pricing before Tender required submission.

  • Ad-hoc analysis and forecasts as requested by the Financial Planning Manager and/or FD.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Graduate or Master’s Degree in Business specializing in either Finance/Accounting/Business

  • Minimum total work experience of 4-5 years+ with progressive finance and/or accounting responsibilities

  • Good Knowledge of US and Local GAAPs in Algeria

  • Experience within a multinational pharmaceutical company is highly valuable

Essential Skills & Abilities:

  • Systems experience across SAP, CTE /Concur, HFM, TM1 preferred

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

  • Solid understanding of planning requirements/process

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify & pursue opportunities across the business.

  • The successful candidate should have a strong work ethic, problem solving, capable of multi-tasking, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, collaborative with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Individual must be self-motivated with great follow-up skills and be able to work independently and within a team.

  • The candidate needs to be able to work under pressure, to be commercially minded and to have strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change to achieve required
