Summary of Job Description :

  • Fully understand clinical profile and medical positioning and utility of global early development products and assess need for pharmaco-economic profiling to meet local requirements

  • Ensure optimal “ translation” and local adjustment of product value dossiers as a basis of the formulation of the local pricing and reimbursement strategy; also ensure full alignment with regional and global market access functions and teams

  • Build and maintain good relationships and expert network with HEOR and Health-economics institutions, relevant local Authorities and industry associations to ensure best possible orientation on relevant healthcare issues and development and lead negotiations with these Authorities

  • Support Business Units in their endeavor to establish or modify local therapy or patient management. Guidelines in collaboration with the respective medical specialty organization.

  • Provide early assessments of new pipelines and identify pipeline opportunities

  • Develop in-depth new product planning strategies to ensure launch excellence by working with cross-functional colleagues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • More than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or within healthcare payer/provider or academic institution

  • More than 3 years of specific market access experience will be preferred

  • Essential Skills and Abilities :

  • Develop and ensure implementation of market access strategies to maximize the commercial potential of the existing portfolio and new products by leading the development and implementation of NHIA submissions, including managing external consultants where appropriate

  • Able to interpret scientific and pharmaco-economic data to assess its relevance to stakeholders and build into value messages

  • Possess effective communication skills in order to facilitate internal information sharing and brand team working

  • Ability to think strategically and understand how to position a value-story in the context of brand and affiliate strategy

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both oral and written

  • Good understanding of business and product knowledge

  • Good presentation and analysis skills
