General Position Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking a Programmer System Senior Analyst to coordinate the delivery of Technical and Operational solutions in support of our Sales/Commercial and Medical organizations for our Salesforce.com (SFDC) CRM instance, Electronic Data Warehouse, Tableau Reporting & Analytics Platform, and other Commercial/Medical applications/platforms. This is a hands-on SFDC Admin role and will collaborate closely with IT Operations, Commercial/Sales, Medical, Market Access, and our partners Veeva & Apttus. The position will report to the Associate Director, Commercial Applications.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the delivery of day-to-day operational needs for the Commercial Applications group with the guidance of the CRM Manager and other team members. This includes creating/maintaining project timelines, task tracking, communication with IT and business stakeholders to ensure on-time completion of all deliverables, and other technical and operational tasks as needed.
Assist the Technical Leads and SMEs in monitoring Operational tasks and deliverables, including (but not limited to) incident and change management requests, service delivery reporting, user training and end-user production support for Commercial/Medical applications as needed.
Participate in requirements gathering efforts (Business Process/Functional and Technical Specifications) as needed for Dev/Ops projects that do not require a full FRS or assigned Project Manager.
Author documentation as needed and/or assist in the generation/creation, review and updating of operational process documents, work instructions, reports, presentations and training materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new reports/dashboards as needed.
Provide CRM administration and operational support including user and security management, hierarchies, roles, data management, and report creation in coordination with Commercial and Sales Operations groups
Serve as a system administrator for CRM and be responsible for post-production end-user support
Prepare and execute data loads with the Apex Data Loader
Create and manage custom objects, page layouts, fields and reports within Veeva CRM
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements (degree, certifications, etc.):
Include must have and preferred
6+ years of experience as a contributor to technical projects implementing system functionality and integrations in support of business operations.
4+ years of Salesforce.com / SFDC Sales Cloud or Veeva CRM experience (ADM-201 Certification preferred)
Familiarity with Veeva Systems CRM/Medical/Mobile/Vault/CLM preferred but not required
Experience in life sciences or BioPharma is preferred
Familiarity with data warehousing, data integration, relational database architecture, and related concepts
Solid understanding of business process/requirements analysis and solutioning
Working knowledge of the software development life cycle
Self-motivated and proactive individual who demonstrates initiative in approaching new tasks and ensuring appropriate follow-up on open items and issues
Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Well organized and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Ability to communicate and work effectively with field-based and non-technical users
Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to write functional specifications, user stories, test scripts, and training documents.

Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal customers, vendors, and others, as necessary
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related discipline
