General Position Summary/Purpose:
IT Programmer Analyst II, Analytics is to perform complex project and analytical work in a wide range of business intelligence activities that ensure the uniformity, accuracy, and semantic consistency of enterprise data through the application of effective data management, security, stewardship, and governance processes.
Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for analyzing current business processes and understand the needs of the business
Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify improvement opportunities for the various initiatives and projects
Create and continuously update detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) which will be consumed by the technical team to deliver accurate solutions based on user requirements
Evaluate complex business data sets to correlate them to business objectives and results and derive insight that will inform business decisions
Ability to understand complex database structures, how to navigate through it, and connecting the data to business processes
Identify operational issues, investigate root causes, and work with appropriate teams to address issues that arise during design and implementation phases of a project
Experience with SQL, Business Objects and or Tableau is a plus
Qualifications and Requirements:
Major in Computer Science, Pharmaceutical industry with a focus on supporting commercial process
3-5 year of analytical and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects
Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, changing environment and self-motivate to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines
Ability to work with minimal supervision
