The Project Manager will provide support to the various specialty brands.

This position reports to the Business Unit Manager, Anesthesia, & Neonatology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with the Brand Teams and in conjunction with key customers to develop and execute projects that meet specific business needs.

  • Developing, coordinating and implementing key programs that address current care gaps and that are aligned with the brand strategy.

  • Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure optimal communication and implementation of programs.

  • Communicating and collaborating with key functional areas and identified physician/external experts (EE) to ensure the success of a particular project.

  • Providing support to the Brand Managers to coordinate EE engagement through advisory boards, consult meetings.

  • Managing key tasks associated with local advisory board meetings, consult meetings, and HCP training sessions including completion of required agreements, travel, honoraria, and post-event expenses.

  • Ensuring effective organization and attendance at key domestic and international conferences including sponsorship of Health Care Professionals (HCP) attendees including completion of required paperwork.

  • Actively participating in Brand team meetings as needed and communicating status of projects.

  • Attending all division meetings and strategic discussions for brands as needed.

  • Ensuring that all tactics are executed in a timely fashion and within budget

  • Ensuring full compliance of projects with AbbVie’s ACC policy and with Rx&D’s Code of Conduct.

  • Participating occasionally in task forces looking at streamlining our internal processes.

  • Coordination of projects with KOLs and nurses.

  • Coordination of Advisory Board and educational events for HCPs.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to design, implement, lead and monitor projects.

  • Communicate effectively in a Matrix environment to facilitate internal information sharing.

  • Strong communication both internally and externally will be needed.

  • Good ability to interact, develop and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • High customer orientation.

  • Prepare and deliver effective presentation.

  • Write clearly and concisely to convey clear/convincing messages.

  • Balance priorities to ensure effective time management.

  • Multi-task to work concurrently with numerous stakeholders and projects.

  • Problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Commerce.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Minimum 2 years in Specialty Sales.

  • English and French must be at advanced level, oral and written.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Outlook and databases.

  • Availability to travel within Canada about 20-30% of the time.

  • Valid Passport and driver’s license required.
