The Manager Field Operations leads the development and implementation of sales strategies and field force effectiveness capabilities within the Immunology Division. He/she operates as a senior liaison and lead on all the strategic field operations initiatives for the Immunology Division. This position is based in head office in St Laurent, Quebec.

Main responsibilities include:

Member of the Immunology Leadership Team (ILT).

Responsible for managing and ensuring continuous improvement of Field Force Effectiveness for the entire division (ie: Sales representatives, Account Managers and District Sales Managers).

Participates on Western Europe & Canada/Global Field Force Effectiveness initiatives

Work collaboratively with key Dpt/functions (ie: Customer Excellence, IFT Manager) to develop programs, tools, processes and dashboards for the Immunology Division, aiming at improving our Field Force Effectiveness:

Sales Capabilities:

Targeting effectiveness, in building segmentation for Biosimilars and aligning messages across all therapeutic areas.

Building and optimizing “Share of Voice” impact of the field force by reviewing “message recall” reports and making recommendations to the ILT on improvement opportunities

Improving selling skill, in helping District Sales Managers become better coaches, developing systemic approach for sales representatives’ development, building the requirements and intent on the selling skills

Increasing business acumen of the field force.

Sales Execution :

Making recommendations to the Leadership Team and Business Unit Managers on ways to improve the overall execution of the field force by:

Analyzing dashboards and sales/activity reports.

Developing, defining, framing and implementing initiatives to address those opportunities with Field Force.

Providing input to Customer Excellence on the creation/changes on dashboards and reports.

Recommending optimal territory alignment and salesforce structure for the Division

Sales Operations:

Reviewing/adapting the Communications platform for the field force

Reviewing/adapting the policies and procedures.

Optimizing the CLM usage and providing input on CRM functionality and reporting

Leveraging OASIS reports with the Field Force

Reviewing/adapting the Sales Incentive Plan (thinking, framing, conceptualizing).

Executing the Sales Management Meeting (development and coordination of the agenda and workshops, leverage the resources from C.E., coordination of the logistics, etc.).

ILT Lead for Customer Excellence.

Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of those programs, tools and processes to ensure they are optimally deployed and in complete alignment with the strategic and operational goals of the division and each business unit.

Participate on Regional / Global Field Force Effectiveness initiatives.

This position reports directly to the Commercial Director Immunology Division

Bachelor’s degree; Science and/or Commerce/Business Administration preferred

Minimum 5 years of Sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Minimum 3 years of Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong communication skills; English and French must be at advanced level, oral and written.

Proficient in using MS Office Suite and all related new technologies in relationship to the role and the work environment.

Experience in management, coaching and instructional techniques is an asset.

Experience in leading people and building effective working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders.

Solid experience in usage of digital tools such as CRM/CLM.

Demonstrated experience in marketing content management.

Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to achieve goals and continuously strive for improvement.

Superior analytical and computer skills (data analysis, benchmarking and results analysis capacities, using adequate databases and systems).

Strong ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with all relevant external/internal stakeholders, especially senior leaders in country-wide projects.

Demonstrated excellence in change management.

Must be able to travel about 25% of the time. Valid passport required.
