We have an opportunity for a Digital Learning Partner, Compliance to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting online and blended course design through project management, that leads to the successful implementation of these courses. This position works independently, as well as collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal subject matter experts, and external vendor partners. The Learning Partner is responsible for transparent and efficient audit tracking of all compliance learning, across AbbVie Canada departments, through a Learning Management System (LMS).

This position reports to the Head of Learning & Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design andimplement accessible eLearning:

  • Plan, design, create,maintain and update e-learning modules using content authoring tools

  • Develop, implementand measure tactics aligned to strategies identified in the compliance trainingplan.

  • Proactively proposeinnovative design ideas to help support the learning of a diverse audience, andresearch new trends to improve the user experience online and/or theperformance of our platforms.

  • LMS administration,maintenance and reporting:

  • Support learning organizationand other cross-functional departments

  • Manage thedeployment and the monitoring of all training/certification programs

  • Participate in thecontinuous improvement of the LMS platform and its related services, as well ascontent management in partnership with other learning partners, the productowners and internal and external content providers.

  • Report and maintainmonthly compliance completion scorecard and files for audit purposes.

  • Promote andcommunicate AbbVie Canada's eLearning offerings offered through the LMS:

  • Manage nationalrequests, approval processes and meet deadlines on multiple projectssimultaneously.

  • Create compliance reportsand communication clearly with stakeholders

  • Define and manageexternal and internal content usage indicators in alignment with the learningexperience

  • Coordinate new projects and services to fosterdigital content creation and consumption (user-generated content, mobilelearning, etc.) from the scoping phase to final.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’sor post-secondary degree in adult education, learning instructional design, instructional technology and/or another related field.

  • Relevant experience with adulte-learning design principles:

  • Instructional design, e-learning and mobile design using learning methodologies to develop courses, performance measures and report on program outcomes (Minimum of three years).

  • Experience using an LMS and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) related tools (Minimum of two years)

  • Solid knowledge of all aspects of designing training content for a wide-ranging stakeholder.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

  • Advance level with technology tools:

  • e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and/or Camtasia(Minimum of three years).

  • LMS maintenance reports

  • Project management experience required.

  • Ability to think and plan strategically (work plans, activities, timetables, targeting)

  • Excellent communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal expertise.

  • Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).

  • Travel required less than 5% of time.
