Primary Objective:

Assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying

opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.


  • Responsible for achieving the sales targets and delivering goals in a complex buyingenvironment for every key business accounts (including sales vs. competitor sales, sales conversion rates, activitytargets, etc,…)

  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers inorder to maximize access and sales opportunities

  • Manage sales opportunities in complex selling environments where there are typically many people who can influencethe buying process and final buying decision, different levels of management hierarchies involved and relatively long salescycles

  • Consistently clarify who the buying influencers and decision-makers are and implement targeting and qualification forevery complex account’s sales opportunities

  • Actively participate in Marketing Plan elaboration for the Brand, being fully responsible for its implementation in his/herterritory(by giving insides from stakeholders needs and feedback from competitor’s strategy)

  • Actively Participate in promo materials’ testing campaign as required byMarketing

  • Provide consultancy to internal and external customers and Reach partner status at key customers

  • Developing and sustaining ‘partnership’ relationships with all accounts in representative’s territory.

  • Monitor and report Pharmacist inventory level by product as requested

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on both Abbvie and competitor products to assist in scientific and ethical positioningof product in a highly specialized field.

  • Grow Product knowledge by attendance at conferences and seminars,

  • Collect information from the market as condition changes, report competition activity to his sales manager.

  • Develop and manage detailed customer profile analysis and adjust strategies according to highest customer service levelstandards

  • Arrange promotional, opinion leader and educational meetings within accounts, as well as 1:1 customer contact in orderto educate customers and promote product in its therapeutic area

  • More independence in managing customers

  • Outstanding teamwork

  • Develop short and long term strategiesin the assigned territories

  • Participate actively in preparation of countrywide campaigns

  • Bachelor's degree, biological sciences, pharmacy, business related field, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expertresource by all relevant stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities

  • Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach.Proven track record of success in sales performance withinpharmaceutical industry, preferably inimmunology.

  • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician/account based selling, training, managed healthcare or marketing preferred
