AbbVie’s Supply Chain IT organization is helping to transform the business by connecting information from packaging lines to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of that change. This position will be responsible for the ownership and execution of key IT projects and initiatives supporting the Supply Planning and Supply Chain functions.

This position is expected to work with minimal oversight. The role will support a global Planning Systems transformation on both our Supply/Demand Forecasting solution (JDA) and the subsidiary BI Solutions.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties

  • Lead complex, global systems projects that support the supply planning functions.

  • Act as the application and process SME for the global Supply Planning.

  • Develop Solution Design, and Functional Requirements documentation

  • Lead Conference Room Pilot Sessions, and Integrated Testing cycles for projects

  • Develop and deliver Super User and End User training, as needed.

  • Coach and mentor analysts, to create a high-performing team

  • Manage and direct the activities of contractors, consultants, and other third parties.

  • Work with cross-functional teams and other BTS stakeholders, to ensure the successful planning and execution of systems projects

  • Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements

  • Follow ITI/DevOps based processes to ensure cost effective, continuous operation of the Supply Chain Planning systems

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience including business analysis, project management, application support

  • Ability to travel globally – 5%

Required Skills

  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops, to elicit user requirements

  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills

  • Track record of driving project deliverables to successful conclusion

  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and structures

  • Experience with Cognos, Qlik or similar Business Intelligence platforms

  • Experience working with large ERP systems like SAP, JDA, JDA ESP, or equivalent

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of the end-to-end Demand and Supply Planning processes

  • Prior consulting experience highly preferred

  • Experience working with a global user base

  • Knowledge of JDA Demand, JDA ESP

  • SAP ECC 6.0 experience highly preferred

  • APICS certification
