The Forecasting Supervisor will assist the sales forecasting managers that support the Immunology Franchise. The position will assist the team in developing accurate/timely projections of commercial product volumes for all Plan, Update, LBE, LRP, Portfolio and monthly Actual submissions. The individual will also assist with Quarterly IR process and other key monthly/quarterly franchise deliverables. The individual must develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business through communication with Marketing & Sales Management, Marketing Analytics and Commercial Finance.

The Forecasting Supervisor will assist the team in providing comprehensive sales forecasting support to the Immunology Franchises. Major responsibilities include the following:
Assist in the development of accurate product sales projections to be utilized in Plan, Update, LBE, LRP and Portfolio submissions – by running sound analytical assumptions and ensuring all files are set up efficiently and correctly.
Preparation and creation of sales reporting/key metric Forecasting Packages.
Provide ad-hoc analytical support on various business needs including potential product launch scenarios, channel/product mix impacts and other key business drivers.
The Forecasting function requires a strong working knowledge of a number of technical areas, including financial modeling, primary market research and syndicated data sources. This role will start to be exposed to these different areas so they can grow and develop these skills.
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Marketing. Master’s/MBA is preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in Finance and/or Accounting
The candidate must have strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, along with strong communication skills to effectively work with various levels of management.
The ability to understand market research is critical to discovering and quantifying financial impacts of marketing initiatives and competitive events.
Deadlines are often tight, therefore the ability to prioritize and quickly understand issues/assess data integrity is critical.
A minimum of three to six years combined experience in cost accounting, auditing, financial reporting, or financial planning and analysis is required.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience with TM1 is preferred
