Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HCP marketing plans and programs needed to maintain market leadership in an increasingly competitive landscape. Work in a team-based environment to lead the development and execution of strategies and implementation of tactics to maximize brand sales, market share, and profitability. Internally fosters positive working relationships with the sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory, and other cross franchise marketing teams. Externally, works with various agencies and consultants, key opinion leaders, and co-marketing partners to successfully drive the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and execute high-impact HCP marketingstrategies that are innovative, executable, and clinically/financiallysupported to drive disease state awareness and brand preference.
Co-lead the Immunology Gastroenterology commercial peerto peer educational strategy
Support the development of conferences
Requires the ability to provide in-depth insights basedon product / market assessments, monitoring progress against brandmilestones, and assimilation of key stakeholder feedback with quantitativeanalysis in order to make strategic recommendations for optimal brandperformance.
Work with internal cross functions groups and externalpartners to insure integration and consistency of business strategies andregulatory compliance of promotional material.
Evaluate the effectiveness of campaign strategiesthrough campaign measurement and metrics development to ensure positivereturn on investment and achievement of brand objectives. Identifyproblems proactively and conceptualize solutions using creativity and innovation.
Effectively track and manage marketing budget for areaof responsibility. Consistently manage multiple projects to deliverhigh-quality work product in a timely fashion
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the patient andensure that all marketing activities align with the needs of the targetaudience.
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketingprograms and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
Think innovatively regarding the application of newtechnologies to marketing, particularly within a regulated environment
Proactively support the sales force through ongoingcommunications of marketing programs
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.MBA preferred.
Previous sales/marketing experience required. 5+years brand marketing/consumer promotions experience preferred
Apply marketing concepts in the development ofmarketing plans and programs including brand positioning, brandarchitecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, market research,marketing objectives/strategies, patient segmentation, etc.
Excellent communication (oral, written, andpresentation) and interpersonal skills.
Communicateclearly and concisely with internal and external contacts, both in writingand verbally
Strongplanning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, andfollow-through
Advanced degree or previous sales/marketing experiencerequired
Experience working in multiple therapeutic categoriespreferred
