The Talent Acquisition team at AbbVie is motivated to attract the industry’s top physician talent through innovative and efficient recruiting approaches, providing an exceptional candidate experience for high impact positions. In this role, you will lead the recruitment efforts for our Medical Director/Sr. Medical Director/Executive Medical Director opportunities across all Therapeutic Areas.

As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will deliver proactive recruiting strategies through the use of market insights and data to position AbbVie as the employer of choice in the biopharma industry!

You will:

  • Setvision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of recruiting physician talentacross our Therapeutic Areas for Medical Director roles (Associate MedicalDirector through Executive Medical Director levels)

  • Leadeffective recruiting process, practices and standards providing highquality experience for candidates and hiring managers

  • Buildsolid relationships with key partners across the organization that yieldconsistent process and impactful results. Use data and market intelligenceto provide consultative guidance.

  • Regularlyassess future talent needs and partner with business and finance to ensureappropriate budgeting is in place to support recruiting demand.

  • Effectivelypartner with fellow Human Resource partners, collectively supporting thebusiness while providing advise as the recruiting expert.

Basic

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar focus.

  • Seven (7) or more years of forward-thinking HR experience in the area ofRecruiting

  • Experiencesourcing candidates and building talent pipelines

  • Significantexperience engaging executive level candidates and clients

  • Mustproject a strong business presence, can instill confidence in clients anddeliver results

  • Proventrack record of developing and implementing innovative recruitingstrategies in a complex and competitive market

  • Effectiveinterpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Attentionto detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Three(3) plus years in a global medical or pharmaceutical organization

  • Priorexperience recruiting physicians
