The Specialty Representative Dermatology is mainly responsible for effective promotion of AbbVie Immunology products to Dermatologists and allied health professionals by implementation of the marketing plan and customer-focused tactics. Responsibilities include developing and executing Key Account Development strategies and business plans for physicians, hospitals and other relevant HCP’s and accounts.
This position reports to a District Manager (DM), Dermatology.
Make effective sales calls on Dermatology customers using current marketing materials and sales strategies.
Ensure timely visits on key customers with strategic frequency.
Review, update, and revise as necessary, Key Account Development strategy and Business Plan.
Work in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, especially other Abbvie Sales representatives.
Communicate competitive intelligence, significant accomplishments, or any issues from the territory to the manager.
Work in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
Discuss initiatives, new business or investment opportunities with manager.
Update and revise Med Ed records and plans and complete cheque requisitions
Communicate and collaborate with in-field team members and district teammates.
Create, analyze and submit month end reports.
Analyze sales and market share results and other data, and adapt territory actions accordingly.
Bachelor Degree in Science, Business or related field.
Must have relevant and specific knowledge of Dermatology market and the existing customers and their clinics in the specific territory under consideration.
Minimum of 2 years in Specialty Representative role.
Must have a high level of scientific acumen and comfort with new data.
Strong communicator; Bilingual - French must be at advanced level, oral and written.
Strong patient focus.
Successful sales track record.
Comfortable and efficient working in a matrix structure environment.
Ability to manage change and flexibility.
Comfortable with high level of scrutiny and pressure.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong selling and ability to differentiate.
Demonstrate initiative and leadership.

Proficient in using MS Office Suite and all related new technologies in relationship to the role and the work environment.
Availability to travel within Canada 25 % of the time.
Valid Passport and driver’s license required.
