Summary of Job Description:

  • To develop annual marketing plans, co-ordinate their successful implementation and grow the long term sales, profit and market share position for assigned products within the context of the overall Corporate Business Plan.

  • Enrich the patient experience by working closely with the cross-functional teams to deliver valued patient support services to ensure patients achieve optimal treatment outcomes.

  • Optimise HCP experience with the product through the development of comprehensive multichannel communications plan.

  • Analyse market dynamics and evaluate the competitive landscape to develop an understanding of the environment and inform the strategic focus.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of marketing objectives and brand strategies and development of the Brand Plan and tactical plan to achieve sales and marketing annual goals.

  • Lead Cross-functional work streams to ensure that all stakeholders are involved in the development of strategies and initiatives, and engaged with contributing to the overall brand team goals.

  • Continuously encourage Brand Team members’ collaboration and foster team spirit.

  • Manage the Brand Cost center, estimates and invoices to ensure that marketing expenditure is within +/- 5% of the forecasted expenditure for each quarter.

  • Lead market research projects to better understand the market opportunity and inform the brand strategy.

  • Partner effectively with external agencies and vendors to design, and produce multichannel marketing materials/initiatives to support in-field execution of overall brand strategies, in line with customer segmentation.

  • Work with global marketing to localise and deploy key global initiatives.

  • Work with the learning department to coordinate a comprehensive ongoing learning program for in-field team members to ensure that the AbbVie sales team is recognized as the most knowledgeable, credible and able to have valuable & challenging conversations with HCPs.

  • Work collaboratively with Sales Management colleagues and participate in idea generation and development of all sales force cycle meeting agendas.

  • Develop annual sales volume and profit forecasts, pricing and expense budgets. Review supply forecast regularly, making adjustments as required. Identify potential supply issues, and develop contingency plans if necessary.

  • Management and financial control of all third party marketing agencies to ensure high quality work is produced in line with project timelines and budget provisions clearly set out in the marketing brief.

  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure competitor readiness for existing competitors, and contribute to new competitor preparedness.

  • Collaborate with Rheumatoid Arthritis colleagues to ensure alignment across the business, and collaborate on joint initiatives.

  • Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, codes, internal policies, legal demands and ethical standards.

  • Maintain an up-to date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with healthcare providers, the in-field team and stakeholders.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification(eg. marketing, business, science).

  • Comprehensive pharmacy, doctor andhealth industry knowledge.

  • Experience in immunology preferred.

  • Strong sales/marketing trackrecord.

  • Experience engaging withhealthcare professionals.

  • Demonstrated excellence in execution.

  • Minimum 2 years' healthcare marketing experience

  • Good understanding of digital andmultichannel marketing strategies and tactics

  • Financial management

  • Fully conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
