The Immunology Marketing Project Manager will be an integral part of the Immunology marketing team and will be responsible for a combination of promotional activities as well as potential educational programs and growth initiative across the various Immunology therapeutic areas.

The objective is to assist in the successful implementation of various marketing projects to support the growth of the sales, profit and market share position for the Immunology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive execution of brand tactical initiative plan ensuring measurements are in place to determine return of resources (time and investment).

  • Uncover insights from market data using data sources available, and use insights to inform brand strategy and tactics.

  • Partner effectively with external agencies and vendors to design, and produce marketing materials/initiatives to support in-field execution of overall brand strategies.

  • Drive delivery of new customer insights to enhance and build on brand innovation.

  • Work with global marketing to localize and deploy key global initiatives.

  • Work with Medical and Sales team to update and implement initial and ongoing product training for the sales force.

  • Work with Business Unit Manager in planning sales promotion and advertising in support of existing products, and determine market strategies and sales tactics to achieve product objectives.

  • Collaborate with Immunology marketing colleagues to ensure alignment across indication, and collaborate on joint initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the relevant National Sales Manager’s during Mid-Cycle meetings and National Sales Conferences to deliver clear guidance to the sales executives on how to implement the marketing tactics to achieve desired outcomes and objectives.

  • Develop customer segment messaging and tactics and direct the sales team how to implement in customer calls using the “challenger” sales model.

  • Work with Business Unit Manager to develop annual expense budgets for projects, review/adjust monthly forecast based on the monthly report provide rationale for major variance from plan.

  • Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, codes, internal policies, legal demands and ethical standards.

  • Achieve sales and market share annual goals.

  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders

Minimum Skills Required:

Knowledge / Education Required:

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Knowledge of Immunology an advantage

  • Tertiary qualification in business or science related field

  • Fully Conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct

Experience Required:

  • Strong preference for subject matter expertise in Immunology

  • Demonstrated excellence in execution

  • Demonstrated success in healthcare / pharmaceutical sales, preferably in specialty care context.

  • Minimum 2 years' healthcare or marketing experience

  • Digital marketing experience an advantage
