  • Designs and optimizes data governance, data management, data integration and data Operation framework to provide best-in-class IT services to our internal customers

  • Orchestrates the future development of the german data warehouse in collaboration with the global data warehouse team. Ensures architectural consistency of recommended technology and its integration into local activities.

  • Manages IT services, processes and tools regarding data management, data integration, and reporting.

  • Orchestrates the design and build of complex reports, scorecards and dashboards, based on internal specifications and state-of-the-art technology. Understands complex business requirements and translates into technical specifications. Uses highest level of subject matter expertise to decide on data modeling, data sourcing, data quality, and reporting delivery solutions.

  • Selects and manages respective IT vendors including contracts and service level agreements.

  • Manages applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, security, usability and integrity.

  • Develops strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that IT requests, projects, processes and managed and communicated effectively. Drive the translation of business requirements and models into appropriate architectural designs to ensure that Business needs are met.

  • Designs and assures system quality assurance, reliability and consistency with installations and deployments. Adhere to ETL design using integration services from various data sources.

  • Actively participates in project review and planning sessions. As needed, lead the solution development, drive and supervise end-to-end development cycle (SDLC) or participate in the projects start-up.

  • Coaches and supervises dedicated team members from a technical perspective.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 5+ years experience of data warehouse principles and techniques, including data modeling techniques such as normalization and dimensional modeling

  • 5+ years MS SQL database design and MS Visual Studio

  • In-depth understanding of data integration best practices, leading industry applications and features such as master data management, entity resolution, data quality assessment, metadata management, etc.

  • Understanding of OLAP, ROLAP, and MOLAP concepts.

  • Good experience with other Business Intelligence tools such as Infor ION BI and MS Reporting

  • Services as well as Reporting/Selfservice BI-Tool Qliksense

  • Infor: Maintain current environment incl. Infor Office Plus, Application Studio and Import Master
