Assistant Controller (m/f/d) in Operations

You are an experienced controlling manager that is responsible for financial reporting and data analysis at manufacturing site level.
This is a key position reporting to the Plant Controller Operations.
You coordinate and prepare annual Plan and Update in accordance with corporate rules and planning as well as the Monthly Actual reporting and Monthly Latest Best Estimate to ensure timely reporting in line with corporate deadlines.
You are responsible for the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts and presentation to the Senior Management.
You will develop and manage the relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for several business areas.
The Implementation and compliance with Group financial policies and corporate finance manuals, more especially, responsible for complete and adequate internal control will be conducted by you.
In addition, you will support internal financial audits, external statutory year end audits and conduct business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, company policies and with high ethical standards.
To develop, maintain and support continuous improvement activities at LU Site in cooperation with other Business Areas is on task of your role as well as liaise with SAP functional Global Key User and SAP Operations team and represent Site in global SAP operational (Key User) meetings.
Your AbbVie talent:
You hold at least a Bachelor degree in General management/Finance or equivalent with 6+ years of financial management experience - Master/MBA degree desired - and are experienced in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an international pharmaceutical multinational company.
Due to your previous work, you are experienced in the preparation of Management Accounts and US Reporting Requirements.
A strong knowledge of SOX Controls and Finance Audits and proficient in SAP Financials and experience in with the use of consolidation reporting systems is required.
As a highly motivated, self-driven and results-oriented person you show a high degree of self-initiative and bring the ability to look beyond the numbers, adding value through accurate interpretation of results and operational dynamics.
