As a result of increased investment, we have an opportunity for an experienced haematology oncology sales professional to join our growing Oncology Division, following the success of our new product launch.

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager and covering the North London (inside the M25) territory this challenging role involves the execution of brand strategy and tactics in field to exceed sales targets while building and maintaining relationships with customers across multiple hospital departments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maximize short and long term salesperformance putting the patient at the heart of all efforts.

  • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs,financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. in order to meet or exceed onthose objectives.

  • Proactively and continuously aspire to exceedcustomer needs, customer expectations and overcome challenges in order to buildtrusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements.

  • Develop and execute an account a callplan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to keycustomers in order to maximize access and sales opportunities.

  • Continuously and proactively buildunderstanding of market intelligence and share this information with internalstakeholders to achieve alignment, anticipate environmental changes andchallenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.

  • Differentiate AbbVie’s valueproposition with health providers assigned and identify, develop and maintaindisease state experts and speakers/advocates in order to maximize brandperformance.

As part of an expanded team of 12 account specialists, your role is an autonomous one but, as part of the ‘All For One AbbVie’ behaviour, you will be responsible for working with others to help achieve all our goals.

1 st stage interviews for this role will take place during the weeks of April 23 rd and April 30 th

2 nd stage Assessment Centres will be during the weeks of May 14th and May 21st..

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, you should have / be:

  • Educated to degree level and/ or with a nursing background

  • Proven success in a highcost, hospital sales role

  • Oncology therapy areaexperience - ideally haematology

  • In-depth scientific,therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge – ideally in haematology

  • Excellent customer relationshipsskills to build, develop and maintain internal and external partnerships

  • Operates effectively in amatrix environment

  • Excellent planning andorganising skills to prioritise and manage activities for best return

  • Strong business acumen and proficientin the use of business tools

  • Passionate about your roleand therapy area
