The Senior Specialist serves in a critical role to support the delivery of learning experiences that drive performance. The Talent Development Manager will take the lead on content curation, project planning, stakeholder management and supplier management to deliver on demand, virtual, and in-person development solutions across AbbVie. This multifaceted role interacts with employees, vendors, business leaders, and facilitators regularly in order to support and coordinate our overall development strategy specifically in the U.S. and with extended support to areas and affiliates.

We seek a team member who will take initiative and proactively plan ahead to meet current and anticipated needs. The right individual has a polished professional presence and can use data to confidently make decisions and take action. The person should be a logistical wizard who can coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and is comfortable using technology platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

•Lead U.S. development/learning solutions through curation and performance cycle alignment of enterprise learning solutions and facilitating efforts across many functions to deliver development and performance results.

•Coordinate efforts across Talent Development and cross-functional partners to align enterprise solutions and resources.

•Provide leadership of contract role to ensure all logistics for learning solutions.

•Develop and manage content, communications, and operations of leader development programs including production and delivery of key initiatives.

•Serve as subject matter expert on enterprise solutions to provide performance consulting through interviews with leaders and human recourse representatives to document needs, determine learning and development objectives, draft learning solution options to support business development and drive leader and team performance.

•Manage projects and events to deliver learning solutions using process and tools to establish and maintain plans from design to evaluation and execution. Be the in-the-know person to oversee, troubleshoot, and make decisions that lead to expected project outcomes. Assumes responsibility for project quality and integrity.

•Maintain cost effective relationship with various suppliers and identifies cost containment strategies. Oversee contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and payment processes including budget chargebacks.

•Create, drive, and execute communication, operations, and marketing processes in support of learning solutions

•Prepare and deliver learning reports

•Establish and maintain working relationships with suppliers and departments

•Own evaluation and metrics collection for learning solutions

•Lead scheduling and alignment to performance cycle of learning solutions for U.S.

•Lead the onboarding and integration of new suppliers and facilitators

•Lead financial process to support deliveries, payments, processing

•Assist in developing budget requirements

•Develop and deliver presentations as needed

•Ensure logistics for learning solutions (classroom and virtual)

•Analyze delivery schedule and support scheduling efforts

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree
