The objective of the Study Forecasting organization is to provide financial support to the Clinical organization. The primary areas of focus for the Study Forecasting organization are to provide study forecasting and financial modeling to enhance resource allocation, update clinical teams on financial health of ongoing clinical trials, and model R&D clinical trial cost for business development opportunities. The Sr. Manager Study Forecasting is responsible for coordinating study forecasts/financial modeling which support the execution of Clinical Programs across multiple functions. The Sr. Manager must have a strong knowledge of the clinical trial dynamics for each franchise. The forecasting/tracking function requires a strong working knowledge of the Quantum system. The Sr. Manager also provides guidance and oversight to the study forecasting team which consists of three direct reports and a total team of nine.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure clinical study forecast processes across all therapeuticareas are appropriate

  • Apply specialized expertise and experience with respectto planning and managing the flow of clinical trial information betweenrelevant groups

  • Facilitate interpretation and understanding of data inall systems

  • Lead annual review of calculations in Quantum to ensureaccurate clinical study forecasts

  • Recruit and maintain high potential, analytical talentand develop a coordinated, productive, and highly motivated staff

  • Continuously monitor workload across organization. Makeadjustments when appropriate

  • Finance representative on multiple clinical processimprovement initiatives

  • Adhoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus

  • 10+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance

  • Demonstrated ability to network/partner effectivelyacross functional areas and with varying levels of management

  • Proven ability to design and manage multiple tasksconcurrently in a dynamic environment within given timelines

  • Excellent system/problem solving skills

  • Clinical knowledge a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to hire, motivate, and retain a highperforming team
