Description

The Project Manager will provide key support for the global oncology marketing organization. The individual will work closely with the Director, Portfolio Strategy and Planning on franchise level initiatives and the Global Brand Lead for depatux-m/solid tumors. This will include supporting the Oncology Brand Council (OBC) and the depatux-m Global Brand Team (GBT). Also, the individual will lead the organization and planning of brand and franchise events. The project manager will forge relationships with cross-functional GBT and OBC members to support achievement of critical milestones by tracking key projects and initiatives and coordinate team responses to critical issues. This will require working closely with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Project management support for the depautx-m GBT andthe franchise OBC, including the legal/med/regulatory approval processwhere needed.

  • SupportsGBTL and franchise lead to manage GBT/OBC meetings planning, minutes andfollow-ups.

  • Maintains close collaboration with directors to assistin planning and executing projects, including gaining consensus on projectgoals, objectives and deliverables.

  • Coordinatesthe process ofGlobal Brand Plan& Roadmap development, including relevant medical/regulatory/legalapproval processes.

  • Plans and completes cross-functional andcross-affiliate communications, meetings and events, including monthlynewsletters.

  • Manages annual calendar for GBT/OBC and synchronizesefforts with critical events in the annual Global Brand cycle (e.g. LRP,Brand Planning, Brand Meetings, etc.).

  • Monitors GBT/OBC performance with Leaders and providesregular reports on agreed brand milestones/KPIs.

  • Communicates action due dates and tracks/monitors progressand performance.

  • Maintains sharepoint sites and updates with newcontent.

  • Establish and maintain high-quality relationships withall cross-functional team members.

  • Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge in thescience of the diseases, the business, and the challenges.

  • Expedite, manage and coordinate a multitude ofinterrelated project activities within the constraints of human andfinancial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successfulcompletion of projects.

  • Assess the degree to which change causes issues andrisks and how those changes affect projects.

  • Assist with tracking and managing the financial budgetsfor the GBT/OBC.

  • Lead or Contributeto specific Marketing projects as required/necessary such as MCM, patientmaterials, etc.

  • Is highly organized, meets project deadlines andproactively delivers on business objectives.

  • Exhibits a culture of integrity, excellence, initiativeand compliance.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbViePolicies and procedures.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven track record of effective project leadershipand positive results.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in amatrix organization both globally and cross-functionally.

  • Successful pharmaceutical brand or marketingrelated experience.

  • Strong information and analytical skills.

  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit; acts as an “innovationpractitioner”.

  • Project management and financial acumen.

  • Product launch experience highly preferred.

  • 3-5 years of Project/Program management experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sciences or aCommercial related field.

  • Industry experience preferable.
