The Lupron Depot Urology Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic and tactical execution for the Lupron Depot Urology brand.
This person will develop and refine tactical initiatives while appropriately prioritizing and ensuring strategic alignment to the goals of the brand and key performance indicators. This individual will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams in the development and execution of tactics/deliverables. This position requires the individual to partner collaboratively with internal and external partners to execute plans. Responsibilities include effective management of agency relationships and cross functional IBT partner teams such as MABI, Public Affairs, MC&O, Sales Training, Medical, Regulatory, Legal and Promo. The role requires working closely with sales management to optimize sales communications and marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be able to manage projects and agencies within time and budget parameters.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and execute high-impact HCP marketingstrategies that are innovative, executable, and clinically/financiallysupported to drive disease state awareness and brand preference.
Requires the ability to provide in-depthinsights based on product / market assessments, monitoring progress againstbrand milestones, and assimilation of key stakeholder feedback withquantitative analysis in order to make strategic recommendations for optimalbrand performance.
Work with internal cross functions groups andexternal partners to insure integration and consistency of business strategiesand regulatory compliance of promotional material.
Evaluate the effectiveness of campaignstrategies through campaign measurement and metrics development to ensurepositive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives.Identify problems proactively and conceptualize solutions using creativity andinnovation.
Effectively track and manage marketing budgetfor area of responsibility. Consistently manage multiple projects to deliverhigh-quality work product in a timely fashion
Demonstrate a strong understanding of thepatient and ensure that all marketing activities align with the needs of thetarget audience.
Continually evaluate the effectiveness ofmarketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
Think innovatively regarding the application ofnew technologies to marketing, particularly within a regulated environment
Proactively support the sales force throughongoing communications of marketing programs
3+ years of relevantexperience within the pharmaceutical industry required
Strong written and interpersonal skills and ability towork cross-functionally to support brand objectives
Lupron Depot Urology experience preferred, but notrequired
Must have positive attitude as well as strong planningand organization skills
Must be able to effectively communicate and collaboratewith various levels/grades within the organization
Deep understanding of salesforce needs and ability tocommunicate with and pull through marketing initiatives to the sales force
Strategic and tactical planning experience
Agency/vendor management experience
Must demonstrate the ability to understandmedical/clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its applicationto marketing strategy and tactical execution
Quick learner and ability to deal with ambiguity/limited data
Must be a self-starter and work well independently aswell as in a team setting
Advanced degree or previoussales/marketing experience required
