The Operational Excellence group partners with U.S. Commercial and other stakeholders for increasing the operational effectiveness of the U.S. Commercial organization by implementation of new business processes and continuous improvement of those that already exist. This group also assists in managing the change that results from changes due to business need, processes or technology, including coordinating efforts with stakeholders such as HR, Learning and Development, etc.

The Associate Director of the Operation Excellence group will be responsible for working with the Director and project teams to ensure the successful execution and implementation of CA&O Operation Excellence projects.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate conceptual ideas and visions into concrete deliverables, visuals and measureable results.

  • Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the defined project requirements

  • Isolate scope, capture business requirements and assess feasibility in order to develop solutions to meet the true business need

  • Determine budgeting requirements and secure necessary confirmation/commitments; oversee project economics and report on such

  • Develop and manage all project documentation including project plans, resource plans, change management plans, communication plans, and business value agreements

  • Effectively communicate with project Sponsors, and CA&O partners and stakeholders so that all parties understand the purpose and direction of the project in the context of the process, technology and people

  • Aggressively drive communication between necessary parties to obtain direction, requirements and business objectives

  • Determine and drive communication strategy, draft content, and ensure appropriate distribution

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 years of business management experience in professional services firm or regulated environment

  • Strong operations experience managing projects and service delivery against targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  • Possess proven project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead large scale projects conducted in complex organization matrices


  • Master’s degree, especially MBA or advanced degree

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
