Key Responsibilities Include
Work with teams to leadand identify key target account opportunities. Develop product strategiesto fully and consistently penetrate these accounts.
Provide strategic andtactical direction regarding target accounts to regional and districtteams.
Advise sales and marketingmanagement with direction on challenges and opportunities within keytarget accounts. Analyze and supports channel specific training needswithin the Region.
Develop an annual businessplan with goals and objectives to increase sales volume and market sharein target accounts across all FDA approved indications. Routinely identifylocal opportunities and threats and develop/modify business plansaccordingly. Anticipate change and take proactive measures to address.
Understand and effectivelyutilize a broad range of financial and quantitative data and analyses.Assess business impact of target account opportunities to include overallprofitability and impact on sales.
Partner with Field SalesManagers to evaluate and penetrate non-retail account drivers within MSAs.
Drive target account volumeand share growth through detailed analysis, providing recommendations anddriving execution and pull through of District Managers andrepresentatives
Minimum 2 years sales oraccount management experience.
Prefer institutionalexperience (integrated systems, hospital networks, complex multi-callpoint).
Demonstrated ability tonetwork and partner effectively across functional areas.
Excellentorganizational/project management and demonstrated leadership skills.
Consistent track record ofhandling multiple partners in complex environments.
Pharmaceutical experienceat a level of district manager, managed care specialist, regional trainer,or higher preferred.
Thorough understanding ofaccount management and the role of an account executive as well as strongsales and customer partnership skills/success.
Proven ability to networkand partner effectively across functional areas.
Excellentinterpersonal/project management and leadership skills.
Significant Work Activities and Conditions: Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
