Our Cork Site in Carricktwohill is aBulk Oral Solid Dosemanufacturing site which is undergone a significant site expansion.

We are looking for an Analytic and a Process Chemist intern . Interns will work within the Site Technology team and sample project will include the following activities:

  • Support new product introductions in to the development and commercial facilities.

  • Process support, trouble shooting and optimisation of commercial products.

  • Support new material qualification activities onsite.

  • Support the various Site Technology functions including development facility and Site Technology Analytical Laboratory.

  • Support validation activities onsite.

  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally with Quality, EHS, Production, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure site deliverables and commitments are met

Requirements for an internship with Abbvie

  • Studying for a Bachelors or Master’s Degree student in a Chemistry related field. Min of 3.0 GPS or 2.1

  • Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship

  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship

  • EU working permit

  • School and/or work experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.3D CAD software experience
