As an AbbVie Human Resources (HR) professional, you’ll be a trusted partner helping to shape our culture, support our business strategies and finding and developing the talent necessary to make a remarkable impact on AbbVie and patients around the world.

The role is based in Algiers, Algeria and reports to the HR Director NWA & Levant-Egypt.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring theeffective “delivery” of all HR programs and services in the North & WestAfrica region. Responsible for HR results in the business, includingclient satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.

  • Responsible for compliance withapplicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.

  • Prioritize critical projects basedon business needs and available resources.

  • Facilitate and implementchange. Ensure that day-to-day activities are moving forward.

  • Must be able to understand andutilize historical and broad organizational data when weighing business HRdecisions and actions.

  • Have credibility with SeniorManagement to maximize successful outcomes.

  • Must be able to think creativelyacross a wide breadth of business segment(s) as well as deep into therespective organizations.

  • Responsible for the diagnosis,development and delivery of HR strategies, programs and services that influenceand drive the needs of the respective business.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’sdegree preferred, or equivalent.

  • Project management or businessexperience

  • Significant breadth of understandingof functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business. Atleast 5 years of generalist HR experience is required.

  • SPHR Certification preferred.
