Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a team environment to create daily lunch menu items, display cooking and catered events.
  • Excellent guest service skills and professional communications.
  • Self-motivated and open minded, works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to run kitchen operation in Chef’s absence.
  • Takes action that goes beyond job requirements in order to achieve objectives.
  • Looks for ways to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Cater events at the Corporate Air Fleet

    Hours: 5:30am-2pm

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Culinary Degree/Certification preferred.
  • Multiple years cooking experience, with the knowledge of menu development.
  • Able to run kitchen operation in Chef’s absence.
  • Experience with volume production and batch cooking a must.
  • Knowledge of food cost, inventory management, and waste reduction.
  • Experience purchasing / ordering food and supplies for a business.
  • Takes action that goes beyond job requirements in order to achieve objectives.
  • Looks for ways to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Experience in leading/training team members and contract labor.
  • Ability to adapt and focus on the beneficial aspects of change.
  • Pro-active leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent guest service skills and professional communications.
  • Self-motivated and open minded, works well in a team environment.
  • Overtime required, flexible work schedule at times, some limited weekend work.
  • Sanitation certification.
